Well I’ve certainly had an eventful (and expensive) couple of days since arriving in the USA, and the Post-Polio Health International (PHI) Conference hasn’t even started yet! I had a very early start to make my 9:15 am flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles but all went without a hitch, and I got a great seat (which I had previously selected online) which was not actually classified as having extra leg room, but considering there was no seat in front of it, I was able to stretch out to my heart’s content.

As Wednesday the 26th of June is fast approaching, it’s time for you and your family and friends to show support for the Campaign Heroes travelling to Canberra by posting messages to them. This afternoon, we sent out 60 personalised invitations to our Morning Tea and Forum to Polio Australia’s ‘Parliamentary Patrons’ and ‘Parliamentary Friends of Polio Survivors’, including the local Members of those Campaigners who have already advised their attendance.
