If I am arriving in a private vehicle, where can I park?
Parking is available in the surrounding area of the Clocktower Centre; however, spaces are limited and cannot be guaranteed. We encourage attendees to allow extra time to find parking or consider public transport where possible.
Some options attendees may wish to explore include:
- Drop-off area: A drop-off lane is located at the front of the Clocktower Centre for those requiring the shortest walking distance to the venue.
- Mt Alexander Road: There is 4-hour free parking along the centre strip on the western side of the venue. If you hold a valid disabled parking permit, the allowed time is generally extended to 8 hours, which may cover the conference’s 7 hours.
- Pascoe Vale Road car park: A parking lot east of the Civic Centre may offer free parking, though it tends to fill quickly, so arriving early may help.
- Queen’s Park street parking: Additional free street parking may be available around the northern edge of Queen’s Park, though these spaces also tend to fill early.
- Moonee Valley Racecourse area: Some parking near the racecourse may be available; however, current construction may reduce capacity.
- Feehan Street open-air parking: Please note this option involves an uphill walk via Dean Street to reach the Clocktower Centre
For the flattest walking route, parking north or west of the venue may be preferable.
As parking availability can change, we recommend arriving early and allowing time to locate a suitable space.
