Mary-ann Liethof attended this conference to represent Australia’s polio survivors. On Monday 2 June, she was on a panel discussing “Support Groups: What Works” together with Mary Gordon, Jean Graber, Beth Kowall and Micki Minner. Mary-ann’s focus was on Polio Australia’s five annual Health and Wellness Retreats and the positive change in the level of participants’ health literacy as a result of attending.
