Please help Dr John Tierney OAM, Polio Australia President and National Patron, to make a difference as he fundraises for Polio Australia through our annual “Walk With Me” Challenge in Canberra!

Funds received go towards providing services for Australia’s polio survivors.

WHEN: Thursday, 10th November 2016 – RSVP by Tuesday, 8 November.

RSVP: If you are walking you MUST let us know by emailing us so security sign-in can be arranged.

ASSEMBLE: 10:00 am – Great Hall at Parliament House (allow time for security sign-in).

MORNING TEA: 10:30 am – Sir Richard Baker Room (Launch of Polio Australia’s Health Professionals Register and new Australian Polio Register website).

LUNCH: 12 noon – Buffet Lunch in the Members & Guests Dining Room for the ‘walkers’.

WALK: 1:00 pm – A relaxed walk or wheel in the sunshine, along the pathway outside Parliament House, to either the House of Representatives Door or the Senate Door, then return to the Great Hall. The distance is 1 kilometre (500 metres each way).

REFRESHMENTS: 1:30 pm – Queens Terrace Café (optional).

DONATIONS: Whether or not you are walking on the day, please donate below in support of John’s Walk (donations for this event will be accepted until 31 December 2016).
